"Mocoma helped me improve my English, meet new friends from all over Europe and North America, and best of all, gave me great knowledge of Communication Management. Because of the Mocoma programme, I found an internship here in Gent with a television station. I will fulfill my dream of working in the television production industry. I really enjoyed my time in Gent and I am excited to spend the summer in the city. It will be alive with parties and sunshine. But I will miss all of the great people and amazing teachers that I met in the Mocoma program. I had a lot of fun studying and making new friends. Thank you Mocoma for an experience I will never forget!"

-- Jose from Spain

"I met some really great ladies in the Mocoma program. From Spain, Holland, Canada and all over Europe, these ladies really made me feel at home in a new country. There were times I missed my home country Finland very much, but then I would just look at the faces of these beautiful women surrounding me and I would think that there is nowhere else in the world I would rather be. It also helps that Belgium has some of the finest beers in the world, and I like beer very much. So from my experience, I can tell you that if you like women and beer, you should definitely join the Mocoma program. I promise you will leave with great memories and a cute Belgian beer belly.

I have nothing but good memories of Gent and I can honestly say that Gent really changed me a lot. I am a new person now! I can say that I have found myself in Gent. I am really happy now and Gent was one of the best things that has ever happened to me."

"It would be very nice if you could give this regards to your new students because during the hard studies in Artevelde, they sometimes forget that they are really, really lucky to be there!

I am sure that I will come back soon!"

-- Samuli from Finland.

"We really enjoyed the class trips to Brugge, Brussels and Lille. It made the course more dynamic and interesting. It was a great opportunity to explore other parts of Europe and build relationships with our classmates. The classes were very well structured and we enjoyed our time very much. This program provided a great opportunity for us to learn about different cultures. We had people in our class from places like Spain, Canada, Holland, Turkey, Hungary, Estonia, and Finland. We got to learn a lot about their cultures by interacting with them. Our friendships will last for a long time. We are happy that we joined the Mocoma program!"

-- Oliver and David from Belgium

" Mocoma was a great opportunity for me to expand my boundaries. I was able to become really intrigued by such great classes as PR Cases, Creative Writing, and Marketing Communications. The Multimedia class really helped me improve my computer skills. I feel far more confident in making digital films, websites, power point presentations and photoshop corrections to my digital images. I think that the knowledge I took from this program, will propel me into the future and towards a great career. Not only does a study program abroad look great on your resume, now I can also confidently step into the future and be ready, thanks to Mocoma!"

-- Ilena from the Netherlands

"Arteveldehogeschool is the place to be! That's what I can tell you, Dear Student. I enjoyed every moment of it. Whatever it was, whenever it happened, however it ended up. We were given loads of homeworks but trust me, it is worth the effort. They were all fun and variable and you never got bored with them. It was fun to prepare every kind of assignment. In a group or on your own. You know, it is very hard to tell you everything because your studies are up to you. But just an example: imagine you are sitting on a beautiful spot in the heart of the medieval city and at once you get the inspiration for your advertising assignment in which you have to prepare a creative and strategic campaign. You meet creative people and that always makes your presentations fun to do and fun to present. If I could do MOCOMA all over again, I wouldn't hesitate for a moment. I tell you, it is hard to explain everything now, but you have to go and experience all this!"

"In fact, I would never have thought that administration can run so smooth. Whatever we asked for, we got the highest attention and effort to carry out our wishes. Not only from Jacques, our coordinator, who we loved to call 'Our Father', or teachers who never said no, but also the cleaning lady and those smart nice people in the library. Everyone did his best so that we could concentrate on what we were there for. They do know you are abroad and that it might be difficult to integrate into a new atmosphere. They just want to make it easier for you so you will surely get the care you would give to others in the same situation. It is as natural as that."
